Cheese Rolls

Dressed with chopped greens or nuts, these logs and cheese balls become party fare.  Prepared and served in a bowl as a dip, or spread they are family fare.

Dried Beef Log

3- 8 oz cream cheese
2 fresh minced cloves of garlic
1/4 cup fresh minced onion
1/4 tsp ground garlic
fresh ground pepper
 
Blend all ingredients and place in a tightly covered dish.  OR form into a round ball and roll in a dish of finely chopped nuts (requires about 1 cup of chopped nuts). Serve on a cheese board, keep covered.
 
 

Dried Veggie Cheese Roll
 
3-8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup dried tomatoes
1/2 cup dried peppers (choose mild)
1/2 cup dried onion bits
 
Chop all dried ingredients into finely minced bits.
Blend all ingredients, wrap cheese ball in plastic, refrigerate for 24 hours to soften dried ingredients.
 
Cheese ball may be placed in an air tight bowl or rolled in nuts.
 

Super EZ All Cheese
 
2-8 oz cream cheese
2 cups finely grated cheddar
2 cups finely grated white cheese
 
One package Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing mix.
 
Blend all ingredients.  Place in air tight container.  Refrigerate for 24 hours.

These cheese balls taste great when served with breads or specialty crackers.
